A little more than 15 years ago, I lived in Corpus Christi when I worked at Texas A&M University, Corpus Christi. When I left I never would have thought that I would be living in the RGV 15 years later. And despite the sunrise views I can find on South Padre Island, the beaches of Corpus Christi are still my preferred location to drive the truck down near the waters edge and set up camp for a day in the sun. Every now and again, we make it over to Corpus Christi to make some more memories.
